Default XCSoar vs SoarPilot?

Anyone with experience using XCSoar and/or SoarPilot care to comment on
the strengths/weaknesses of each? Both programs appear to be very
feature-rich, and appear to handle all conceivable competition
situations, so I am more interested in ease of use, simplicity & ease
of understanding the GUI, and robustness in actual race conditions.

TIA,

Frank
