Is AWC an approved weather source?
There used to be a disclaimer in aviationweather.gov that it was not an
approved source. But I can't find that disclaimer anymore. Has AWC become an approved source? I recall an AC that was issued some time ago that authorized certain internet based weather to be considered official. |

It does not record your tail number so the FAA will presume you did not check the weather. |
