Additionally, the aircraft had just come out of maintenance were the tanks
were emptied. The investigators have not been able to find a fueling ticket.

NTSB database is full of them SR-20/22's that weren't saved by dem parachutes.

Btw there's like 40 miles between Coconut Grove and Coconut Creek, FL

so how does an avionics problem cause an SR-22 to crash?
ohh.. the avionics did not tell the pilot to check fuel before flying..

I wonder what his altitude was when he ran into trouble. Perhaps he was too
low, or maybe he thought he could make an emergency landing safely. Guess we
will have to wait for more details.
