Default St Louis-area Soaring Pilots?

Hello All,

A cousin of mine in the St Louis area is looking to learn a new skill and get into a new hobby; and he has just discovered gliders. Anyone on RAS want to volunteer to chat with him and/or invite him out to your local club or operation?

Please let me know, thanks!

The St Louis club is about 30 miles east near Highland Il. Do not know if anyone from the club is on RAS.

Where to fly on the SSA website lists the St Louis Club website at:

http://www.stlsoar.org/home/home.jsf

Might be a good place to start

Noel, I've been a member of the St Louis Soaring Association since 2005 - please tell your cousin to give us a call (or contact me directly) and/or come on out to our field in Highland IL any weekend or Wednesday - we fly if the weather is good (and our grass field is reasonably dry) and on bad wx days we work on our fleet of gliders (11) and towplanes (3) and tell lies to each other...

Our web site has our contact number, and a web cam that shows the field - if you can see cars we are up to something!

And yes, rides are available.

Cheers,

Kirk
