No, but I've retained a taste for it, and just content myself with a supply
from my local supermarket!

Any man who would dilute a good Islay Scotch with *water*,
well...there's just no excuse.

Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Oban, Bruichladdich - take your pick, but keep the
&*$%@ water away!

It's a very personal thing (I have two friends who can't abide Islay whisky)
but I have to admit that I find a little water brings out the true flavour
and cuts the fieriness a bit!

I prefer it on the rocks. No twist if you please.

The Islays are just flat out the best - of course, that's just my
opinion. But for the smokiest and peatiest of all - Laphroaig - people
either love it or hate it. There's almost nobody in between.

My former boss was from Scotland. He called Laphroaig "chimney
scrapings". Like it was a bad thing.
