Somebody re-invent the wheel?

Looks sorta' like a composite RV-3. ;-)

Just a logical extension of the breed. The RV-3 is half plastic already. . .

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The "half" which really isn't half at all....
is non structural and I can live with that.

1. Cowling
2. Spinner
3. Wheel pants
4. Misc farings
5. Tips of wings, rudder and horiz stab

However, some folks are taken quite by
surprise that there is any composite content at all.

Dunno why.

How'd I do on a scale of 9 to 10?

Very mild reaction. I've seen vinegar and baking soda pop off worse. You
just ain't the same loveable curmudgeon since you were restored and raised.

Add to that on the RV-10 the top of the fuselage as well. Seems that

plastic
stuff is gaining a foothold everywhere.

Seems to me, more people are realizing aluminum belongs in beer cans, not
airplanes. g
