Default Is Anyone In Southern Calif. Going Flying This Weekend?

Hi-

It's been awhile since I've posted, though I've been reading when I
can and very much appreciate all those who contribute to these groups.
I do apologize for posting this to both groups but, for this request,
it seemed appropriate.

I've been grounded since I got laid off and then tried to get my own
business going. By the time I had to stop my lessons, I had logged 41
hours towards my PP certificate. I'm looking for real work now
(meaning steady income), and as soon as I find it and catch up on the
bills, I hope to be back flying.

The problem is, not being up in the air is driving me absolutely
crazy! I'm desperate to go flying with someone, even if I don't touch
the controls at all.

Is anyone in L.A. County or western San Bernardino or Riverside
counties going flying sometime this weekend? Are any of you going up
to stay current, do some time-building, get a hamburger at some
airport other than your own, etc.? If so, is there any chance I could
tag along as a front seat passenger? Please?!

Though my funds are low at the moment, I could contribute something
towards the flight, especially if it's your own airplane. I have my
own headset, so that's not a concern.

Due to size constraints, I don't fit in a 150/152 or aircraft with
similar-width cabins. Other than that, pretty much any other plane
would be excellent. The ultimate, however, as my e-mail implies,
would be to sit right seat in a big Cessna twin, such as a 421, 414,
or 402 (in that order of preference).

I have a feeling that going flying will give me a huge boost, giving
me even greater incentive than I already have to find a good new job.

If you can help, please e-mail me at:

Send me your number, or I'll reply to your e-mail with my phone
number.

Thank you!!

Gerry
