I am not certain of the identification of the next group I am presenting.
All are photographs I took at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio in July of
'06. Help will be appreciated. Once again, the photographs were taken with
a hand held digital camera in usually atrocious lighting. My apologies for
the lack of quality.
I believe this was a bomber and anti-electronic reconnaissance aircraft and
may also have been designed to deliver nuclear weapons from an USN aircraft
carrier (but on rare occasions I have been wrong).

Hi Bill

This aircraft started out as photo recon variant known as the Douglas RB-66C
Destroyer. It was converted to EB-66C. The aircraft in the photo is
painted to represent an EB-66C of the 39th Tactical Reconnaissance Training
Squadron (later known as the 39th Tactical Electronic Warfare Training
Squadron) of the Shaw A.F.B. based 363rd Tactical Reconnaissance Wing. The
unit made a number of deployments to Southeast Asia.

I have over 1000 hours in the Navy's A3D.

The Navy version has been used as a bomber, tanker, EW aircraft,
bombardier/navigator trainer and VIP transport.
