Frozen airman's body headed home; remains identified from crash
http://www.thestate.com/mld/thestate...n/13794675.htm
The remains of an airman who was lost in November 1942 were finally identified today. 22 Year old Leo Mustonen of Brainerd Minnesota, an airman who's body laid undisturbed for 63 years in a California snowpack, deep in the High Sierra, was finally identified positively after its discovery in October 2005. Read the whole thing! Hat tip - http://varifrank.com/archives/2006/0...irman_no_l.php (Damn good commentary, too) |
