My wife and I are visiting San Francisco, CA next month, and I was
wondering if anyone could recommend a gliderport nearby. I only hold
a student cert so I would be going for a ride with an instructor, but
even that would be great.

thanks,

Williams, CA is not that far away, I visited them during a trip to CA
last year and did the same thing. Good selection of equipment, very
friendly folks, and worth the drive.

I'd second that - I was there for a few days back in 2001 and enjoyed my
stay a lot. I did my type conversion to a Pegasus there.
