Yes, the new terminal is still a work in progress as you can see. It should
be done in about a year or so I think. It was designed by a well known
architect who just did a terminal in Asia. The old/current terminal is
visible in the background and there is a move to preserve it due to its
architectural significance. The Western Canada Aviaiton museum wants to move
into the building and expand its presence at the airport. I for one would
welcome such a move. There seems to be money for all sorts of projects,
surely a few shekels could be thrown towards the WCAM and get them
established there.
