Default Low altitude wave.

We get a low altitude wave when this layer of stable air rolls over
our ridge and bounces back up. Saturday we topped out at about
6500MSL. Our valley floor is 600MSL.

Pretty cool video!

Last week I entered wave (10 kts) on the departure turn (6,700 MSL, 500
AGL). We completed a full 360* turn and I released at about 3,000 AGL. Top
of the lift was only about 16,000 MSL and it was very cold, but still a nice
way to spend a winter day!

Gary, interesting east wave, but no gliders in that video.
I also found the Pawnee disassembly video from January.
Why did it have to come apart? No room inside a hanger to do the work?

I had to sell it. It was cheaper than trying to make the FAA happy.
