Default MA3 SPAV carburettor question

the model number....
10-4894, 10-5110, 10-4114 etc

what information is encoded in the last 4 digits?
what is it that varies between the different numbers often mounted on
the same type of aircraft?????

the servicing manual contains no clue at all as to what varies between
the serial numbers.

for the guy with the carby with the stripped threads I have a near new
10-5110 body that I have just sacked on my own aircraft.
I have no idea what the differences are in the different models.
we could come to a deal if it was suitable.
(my email address is a dud. post here)

after a solid year of leaks then no leaks then leaks I've come to the
conclusion that the needle seat was stuffed although it looks near
perfect.
I put most of a refurbish kit through my old carby to remove the
butterfly wear problem and that seems to be doing the trick.
all parts in the kit were in Kelly Aerospace bags. dont know where
they come into the picture.
my new brass float was oem'd by robinson helicopters.

the old MA3 doesnt appear to be dead quite yet.
hope not. they are a lovely carby.

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good Excelsior Home Built 0 April 22nd 05 01:11 AM
