Default Accident/incident report?

My plane was involved in an incident back in 1986, long before I owned it,
and I would like more information about it. Does anyone know where I can
find a detailed report of accidents/incidents?

Try:

http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/query.asp

To get the maximum data, download the dataset for 1986 (link's on the same
page).
