Anyone know of a good source to order the black rubber piece that is part
of
the Schweitzer tow hook?

Look at McMaster Carr supply. They have a large variety of rubber products. You will find the rubber you need for your Schweizer(no t) hook.

Buy the right stuff from K and L , along with the bolt and nut and spacer. Why risk incorrect strength hardness rubber that cost nothing compared to a incorrect made jury rigged part!!!!
