The airliners all want their new equipment to look and act just like an FMS so they don't have to retrain. Garmin has traction with high end light airplanes, and thats just as it should be. When/if garmin makes airline equipment, their light airplane lines will go downhill. Anytime someuses "BS,' it probably means they are bluffing. If the airlines new equipment looks and acts just like an FMS, to paraphrase you, dosn't that make it an FMS? |
