Won't Pay for Perks (was Europeans flying on holiday - hysterical!)

One of the most ridiculously high fares is Continental's Newark to B'ham (BHX) ; it cannot be justified. Are they making a profit on this route? If so, then that would seem to be a justification to CO to charge a higher rate.
