Came across this interesting aircrat at Old Buckenham in the UK last
weekend

Can anyone enlighten as to its background - at first glance looks like
a PA18

If you consult our alther friend, you will learn the similarity to the
Piper Cub is not accidental... and I also understand why, as a
youngster, I always mistook Austers for Cubs!

Nice website - and I was expecting a sleepy old WWII remnant of which I
knew several examples near Norfolk, once upon a time.
