If you like motor racing, drag yourself out to Lake Gairdner down there
5th - 9th March 2007 for the DLRA landspeed trials
got two cars from the US headed that way.
a Doug Odom's lakester from Calif, and
Keith Turks 261mph Camero from Alabama ( featured in HotRod Mag)
and this does fit a little into aviation, Keith used to be a helicopter
pilot. now he confines his flying to going very fast on the ground.
