Default Drag Reduction Thru Aero Deturbulators

The June-July issue of Gliding Kiwi features an enlightening article
about the developement of a new very thin surface mounted passive strip
that promises to reduce aerodynamic skin friction drag significantly.
The article is complete with photographs, preliminary flight test data,
and explanations as to the functioning of the deturbulator. It is being
tested on both a sailplane and a light powered airplane.
Most of this article, and more recent updates can be seen by going
