Silver State Helicopters
"Buzzard Chaser" wrote in message
... Howdy. Anyone know about a school called Silver State Helicopters? They are advertising classes in my area and say they will give you a job upon graduation. Problem I see is that if they graduate 50 students with CFII's, how are they going to give all those folks jobs? I don't know of any company that guarantees they'll give you a job upon completion. They might well offer to consider everybody that graduates, but not everyone's cut out to be an instructor. (Assuming that's what's being offered.) Of course they may well have a get-out clause that allows them to pay you for an hour and then say "you know what, it's just not working out...". Besides, would you want to train with a company that hires every single one of it's graduates simply to get people to sign up in the first place, rather than simply hiring the best of the instructors they can get?
