Hi,

The good news is that FLARM is making good progress on software improvements
to the PowerFLARM software. I recently received a beta version software
upgrade which allows the unit to display Mode C transponder traffic on the
unit. It seems to work well and expect it to be released soon.

Also, I have updated my FLARM web site with details on 2 panel mount
adapters for the PowerFLARM Portable.

Paul, how do you know it works well? Did you fly with it?

Hi Andrzej,

No. I haven't flown with it yet. But I did drive around with it an saw
traffic from a nearby airport. I look forward to flying with it in the
spring.

The portable unit can be used while towing a glider around the
airfield, so you can more easily "see" traffic. Best with an external
antenna.
