Default 4 seat Vision from American Affordable Aircraft

I am wondering if there are any 4 place Vision builders out there who
are almost finished building? I am considering building one myself
and am just curious.

Hmm, never heard of a vision, so I googled it and found their site.
I'll leave the website do the talking...

and, until one actually is completed and flies, there will be no such
thing for sale."

I would guess that's a no.

You would be guessing wrong! The quote from the web site is accurate but not
complete and to make any assumption from it would be wrong. I know of at least
ONE four place Vision (or more appropriately, Vision inspired four place) being
built and I think there may be one or two more under construction.

Check out the following web site:

Had you done a better job of following up on the web sites returned from your
Google search you would have found the following:

http://www.divorcemag.com/Vision132/aircraft.shtml

It might just have save you from looking like you were sniffing those
dieselfumes.

Is it just me, or is hosting a homebuilt aircraft page at "Divorce
Magazine.com" more than a little scary?

There is a story behind that as you would imagine but I will leave it to him to
tell you.

I suppose if I was sniffin' a few more fumes I might have sniffed out
more websites when I googled! Aww hell, the top one in the search was
"There is no 4 place Vision", which is a pretty convincing distraction
when you google "4 place vision"... I guess you caught me!

Ok, so the 4 place is a "modification" to the original design... Sorta
like that 4 place RV-6 that somebody built.

Cheers!

The main reason I knew of the other site was that I have talked with the
builder on several occasions. He had contacted me regarding some of the
information on my website over the years. He is taking on one hell of a
project but the main takeoff from the Vision is the construction technique.

PS: I intended to add a big G following my sniffing comment but somehow left
it off.

It should be "somewhere" in the google archive for this newsgroup as
well, if it is the same story I am thinking of. I still chuckle over
the way he didn't "get" the fact that a kitplane manufacturer wouldn't
be interested in advertising in his magazine. 8^)
