Default Piper fuel valve PA24-250 salvage part wanted

The valve is Piper # 492-068, made by HOOf under their # A73V.

Or does anyone know if similar part HOOf A73W is compatible and can be
field approved (possibly?) assuming one of those available.

Original part is servicable in terms of selection but not in terms of
correct gauge reading of selected tank. Webco say they cannot repair.

Thank you. Any info especially if anyone has gotten field approval of
alternate ?
