Default A-26 Invaders in Korea or Japan?

I have obtained a bunch small of b/w photographs taken somewhere
(I think) in Korea or maybe Japan. These are not the greatest images
but seem to show an inspection or some sort of visit by a VIP.
Can anyone shed any light on the where/when from the following
description of the contents?
The easiest to identify is an A/B-26 Invader 44-35579 which has
the 5th Air Force badge on the fin and the words HEADQUARTERS
under this badge.
There is another Invader 44-34247, black tail with a large F and the
Dragon, (or whatever) nose. There are a couple of shots of other Invaders
with the Dragon nose and multi nose cannons, but the angle of shot
prevents any hope of getting a serial.
There is a shot of a B-25 under maintainance and this has what looks
like a large Wolf head on the nose.
There is a front threequarer shot of an F-15A Reporter
There are several shots of two differing C-54s, one is polished unpainted
and has nose art and one would seem to be in VIP colours.
There are several shots of large numbers of MPs with white helmets
standing in front of their armoured vehicles and jeeps. A VIP in
civillian clothes, (long black overcoat and black homburg or trilby hat)
is being photographed as he stands facing the MPs.
Finally there is an airfield "beat up" by a B-29 and by Invaders
witha mass fly past of Invaders, one shot shows a formation of 28!
Thanks for any hints or pointers....Gordon )
