4. Why not? Because it would upset "Diversity" goals. And that goal is
to hire women and blacks at all cost REGARDLESS of the safety or
work impact with a LEFT OVER OUTDATED CLINTON Administration edict. If
the FAA is so adamant about hiring the best as stated in public
and in writing, why are they afraid of a NUMBERED BID SYSTEM???

You suppose this is the background reason the Bush administration is
trying to contract out all the government services?
What kind of organizations do you suppose have the resources to win the
contracts?

:-))

Look, nitwit troll, if you wanted to start a genuine debate, you wouldn't
revel in misogynistic and racist tripe to intro your posts. But you
wouldn't know how to engage in genuine honest debate if it bit you on your
fat white hairy ass.

Now attend carefully idiot: statistics show a general DECLINE in accidents
- but you're clearly a troll, racist, misogynist, or some combination of
those, so of course you'll vomit garbage. Hell, following your screwed up
reasoning, it looks like the "feel good" politics are resulting in a
decline in aircraft accidents! How's them apples bubba?

FAA Management screwing over their dedicated union
members is not helpful toward good workforce morale either.

Unions are for morons, like you, who can't hold their jobs without
coercion.

*1. DALLAS — Air traffic controllers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
routinely covered up errors and their supervisors failed to
investigate cases that included airplanes flying too close to each
other, federal officials said.

Race and gender not specified. Connection to "feel good politics": non
sequitor. Anecdotal evidence.

2. LAS VEGAS — A veteran air traffic controller was stripped of tower

Blah blah blah. Same nonsense as in first anecdote, repeated ad nauseum.
Your point, bozo?

( I will be sending this to all 100 Senators and most Congressman and
the Media)

I'm sure they need a good laugh now and then from bozos like you.
So have you stopped wearing the big red nose?

Unfortunately, your message will be lost on most people when they read this
passage. It invokes an image of a hate monger. Women and minorities can and
do provide excellent experience levels at numerous FSDOs. Instead, why not
focus on the real problem. With the FAA's contrained budget, its employees
are overloaded in a mountain of work and the experienced people get fed up
and go back to the private sector.

I think the OP is complaining that hiring and advancement in the FAA
too often are based on things other than experience, ability and
performance, and that the FAA, like other government agencies, too
often wastes money on things that are not central to its mission.

The OP appears to misplace blame for this situation onto women and
minorities. In fact, lower technical standards and wasted money are
really the symptom, not the cause of the problems there. The real
problem is bad management.

You are correct sir. While people focus on ignoring the "race" and "sex"
the facts and shooting the messenger
or labeling them "racist" etc. the facts are this.

Most of the management now in the FAA is something other than
"hetrosexual white males"
The FAA is in crisis precisely for the reason you mention. Loss of
mission focus and bad incompetent management.

Unfortunately for your argument, it appears that you also are
interested in focusing on things other than ability, performance and
experience.

The laugh is on you, for responding. That is what trolls live for.

Any company that won a government (FAA) contract would have to have the same
Affirmative Action rules in place that the FAA has.

The US has given up being a meritocracy (a very distinguishing American
characteristic) LONG ago.

When government fails, the cry is not to scrap it and build anew, it's to
give even more money and resources. In the present form of cronyism, the
same status afflicts the world of commerce (HP being a most obvious
example).

Hmmm...for all the faults in his terminology, you show even less capacity
for anything beyond adolescent name calling.

One who phrases poorly and a response from a brick-brain engaging in
childish rationalizing.

Now wonder America is so ****ed up!!!

America went from slavery to segregation to affirmative action. At which
point along that path did we "give up" on meritocracy, in your surreal
opinion?

Don't forget to include this:

What prevents Anne Whiteman from filing a grievance with the
controllers' union? Doesn't the union police its ranks?
