Dear Pilot,

You are cordially invited to attend our 31st Annual CCSC Soaring Contest at
the Avenal Gliderport.

Practice day is Wednesday, May 11. The contest will run from May 12 through
May 15. Classes are

Standard, 15 Meter, 18 Meter, Open, and Sport. Scoring is handicapped so any
ship can compete.

The CCSC Spring contest has long been the kickoff event of the season. This
is a low-key, no pressure

contest where new contest pilots can gain experience while flying with the
very best competitors in the

West. It is a good place to make friends while you hone your skills in a
safe environment, in conditions

sometimes surprisingly strong.

Hot meals will again be available each day prior to the launch.

have not flown in a contest yet, try this one first. You will be amazed at
