Default K&N Performance Gold Oil Filter?

Anyone tried a K&N oil filter on their Lycoming yet?

Was thumbing thru the latest Summit Racing catalog. Saw K&N oil filter on p
133, lower right. A lot of us are using K&N air filters already.

On the oil, they claim 10-micron filtration, which, according to Light Planes
Maintenance, is the desired spec the major players don't meet. It also has
drain back protection, which sounds like it might minimize dry start ups and
the subsequent Lyc cam spalling.

The photo shows a nut on the end. Not sure if there are safety tabs. Burst is
rated better than 550 psi. I can buy locally at Checker Auto for $10, which is
still $4 cheaper than a Kelly.
