Schreder Motorglider
Does anyone have any information on motorglider conversions for any of
the Schreder aircraft. I've heard of an HP-11 and HP-14 in Canada but I can't get any information. - Pat |

(http://www.soaridaho.com/Schreder/HP...an_HP-14M.html) It is my understanding that a HP-16 had a similar conversion. A converted RS-15 crashed near Richland, Washington a few years ago. The system did not provide adequate power and had been removed prior to the accident. About three years ago there was a person in South America offering a HP-14 conversion kit. I sorry that I currently do not have contact information. Wayne HP-14 N990 "6F" http://www.soaridaho.com/Schreder |

Given the V tail and shape of the nose I suspect it was based on the HP-14 or similar design. Their last name was Smith, and he (the father that is) was in the Air Force. Shawn |
