igcshell and the Volkslogger.

I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced problems between the
igcshell validation program and their Volkslogger?

My Gold distance hangs in the balance because a validation check on the
igc file never completes itself, igcshell just freezes up.

Same with the dos based program available from Garrecht.

I've tried a whole bunch of files from 4 different Volksloggers and about
50% of the time igcshell freezes up and never completes the validation.

Surely this can't be a file problem?

If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.
