Default Urban Will Be Pleased to Know

A White Lightning is receiving a new engine in South Carolina. It is a
6-cylinder Subaru with gear reduction drive from the engineers at Crossflow
Aero Corporation, www.crossflow.com

I just got pictures today. The Lightning is being prepared for Reno 2004.
The engine will be turbocharged.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And your point is what, Larry...
That you know and can spell my name correctly?
That you can somehow bedazzle me with fools gold,
glitter and efforts of which you best can only parrot?

Once upon a time....
Andy Granatelli brought his unique turbine conversion to Indy.

What was the eventual outcome?
A lot of hopes were raised,
a lot of money spent and...
turbine racing got scrapped.

Barnyard BOb -- The End

The beginning. White Lightning won its class at Reno 2 years ago. It was
turbocharged. The blower was powered by a 2-stroke engine in the belly of
the airplane. The turbocharger, designed by a member of our chapter here,
is used to obtain sea-level horsepower only, since the altitude at Reno is
about like Denver's.

been asked for by about 5 people so far? Afraid to post them,
ass-wipe?

YAAAAAWN. Where are the pictures of your project that everyone is
asking to see? It doesn't have to be complete....which it never will
be....we'd just like to be impressed and motivated by your superb
workmanship. You can cover the useless latch-holes with a rag and
we'll pretend not to notice.

Yeah Larry, let us all see your progress or lack of progress since you find it
such great sport to poke fun at others peoples projects. I have put my
progress, and lack of progress, up for all to see and you choose to make fun of
it so how about showing us what you have done.

The newsgroup is still waiting for pictures of your WL.

I guess I should be glad that somebody has gotten their stuff from
Crossflow. A friend of mine is building a Glastar, purchased an engine
package from them (paid in advance), and has yet to receive all of his
stuff well over a year (maybe 2) later. His plane would have flown
some time ago but he is missing critical parts.

My pics are from a 35mm slr camera. I don't have a scanner and don't plan
to get one. I don't need to publish pictures. The photos I have made are
for the FAA when they need to take a look. OK?

No, it's not OK. You lipped off about workmanship, so it's time to put
up photos of your own. Almost everyone you know has a scanner and/or a
digital camera, assuming that any of them are willing to help you.
Failing that, somebody in this group will scan them for you. My
predication - we'll never see pictures of your project because it's a
sorry deal....just like you.

I have a scanner. If he sends me the pictures I will scan
them, put them on the web, post the URL, and mail his photos
back to him. I will do it all within 24 hours of receiving
the photos.
