Default Nukes in Iran (WAS: Israel to Destroy Iran's Nuke Capacity)

UN inspectors have found uranium enrichment equipment, of the variety sold by
Pakistani "lone wolf operator" cough....yeah sure Dr. Khan, in Iran.

Just had a thread about Israel's supposed plans to attack Iran's nuke building
capacity. The time is not ripe for such an attack as Iran is in a serious state
of political flux right now and things could possibly change for the better
(revolution against the mullahs), but I don't doubt that Israel has no
intention of allowing a hostile Iran to obtain nukes.

I have serious doubts anything like that will happen. Certainly the younger
and better educated Iranians are mostly in favor of a more democratic and
progressive government, but the problem is the vast majority of Iranians are
poorly educated and many of them depend on the clergy for leadership, and of
course most of the Iranian clergy is fundamentalist and anti-democratic.
Still we can hope.

As well they shouldn't. A nuclear armed Iran is a very scary thought. If
Israel doens't take care of this, the US should.
