I have heard from foreign pilots trying to enter the pre-world
competition at Uvalde this summer -
the word is that the Uvalde folks/officials will allow only 5 foreign
pilot in the pre-world competition -
a bit strange that they would limit entry into the pre-world
competition - and still call it "pre-world"?

The information on the SSA web site indicates 36 slots are open fo
foreign pilots. I do understand that they are being asked to
indicate they are coming so that unused slots can go to US pilots so
as to ensure a viable event. 40 entries are described.
