Vlado, how long do you think these air races using WWII
aircraft and parts can go on?


The races can go on for quite some time. Airframes are not a problem as many
new parts can be easily manufactured, cost only being the limiting factor.
Engine parts are becoming scare, but someone always seems to step up to make
new parts again. The customized WW2 racers may not be as common as their
market values keep rising, but the new sport class of Glassairs, etc. will
continue the race events as well as the T-6 aircraft and other homebuilts.
