Default John Kerry 1971 on CSPAN

2004 VOTE
John Kerry on Foreign Policy, 1971
This week: John Kerry's appearance on ABC's "The Dick Cavett Show"
from June 30, 1971. Kerry discusses Vietnam and U.S. foreign policy.
SUNDAY ON C-SPAN AT 6:30PM & 9:30PM

Probably too late now, but this is a great show.
Navy veteran John O'Neill debating Kerry on the Vietnam War.
In the opening remarks O'Neill called Kerry "this little man." I
almost applauded.
Kerry seems to say he believes people should have voted back then
about the Vietnam War.
Have to wonder if North Korea invades the south or some other war
comes along is Kerry going to ask the American people to vote on
whether we should go to war or not?

I saw a C-17 fly over today.G

Even in 1971 Kerry was looking for someone to surrender Vietnam to. His
harebrained idea that if we just set a fixed date for our end of a cease
fire then all POWs would be released by NVN. (Kerry said North Vietnam had
promised they would). Uncle Ho would have loved Kerry's idea of a fixed
date. Just the thing to use for another Tet type ambush.

Kerry also passed gas about the Nuremburg Trials, etc. as though any NVN
trooper had ever hard of such a thing or would have complied if they had.
(Clinton believed we voters lived in a dream world. Kerry himself is the one
in the dream world.)

Kerry had earlier stated that he himself had committed wartime atrocities.
Then he said he had never witnessed any wartime atrocities. 1971 must have
been when Kerry was still perfecting his flip-flop technique.

The Pundit's Guru.
