Default Connection Lightspeed Headset directly to Cassette.

I have what might be a slightly odd question. I want to be able to
connect a LightSpeed headset to a cassette recorder. The recorder has 2
sockets 1 for headphone, and 1 for microphone. I tried radio shack and
they had no idea how to connect the slightly small of the two
lightspeed plugs. Is this simply something that cannot be done?

The headset is a 30-3G.

Thanks. Should I post this a different newsgroup?

Don't bother. Even if you could find a connector adapter, the microphones
work on entirely different principles.

some portable intercoms have inputs/outputs that can be connected to a
recorder. are you using this for an aviation application, or something else?

do a couple of goole searches for airplane patch cords and see what you
find.
