Default 3 down - 2 dead - In 3 days

Hot hot hot up here in Alberta.

Lots of fires, lots of planes in the air.

As the subject says.... 3 bell 206 helicopters have crashed within the
past few days, and 2 pilots have been killed.

Speculation has been made that high temps on the ground have made take
off and flying difficult..... and perhaps been a factor in at least one
of the accidents.

I've never drank so much ice tea and ice water as I have these past few
record breaking days... about 33 Celsius, which for us is hot weather.

Taday it broke with overcast skies, so hopefully it will rain a bit and
give the boots on the ground and pilots in the air a bit of a break.

Anybody here ever flown with a bambi bucket.

We are all eyes - so tell us a story.
