OK - considering the responses, there's some ambiguity in the original
post.

The price is not ambiguous - these are prices published by TOTAL today,
"at the pump" prices for cardholders.

The wet rental rates for the 182 are also as published.

The ambiguity is in using dollars, because the dollar is probably
"artificially" devaluated at this time. Listing these figures in dollars
is in the interest of comprehension, because the newsgroup is largely US
centered.

One could argue that the dollar figure exaggerates the case because of
the artificially high dollar/Euro exchange rate, but on the other side,
European petroleum markets profit from some buffer, because brut prices
are in dollars, not Euros.

I therefore maintain the reality, which is that Avgas is at $11.50/gal,
or EUR2/l if you prefer in France today. Irrefutable fact.

$11.50 Still not that bad Greenland is sitting about $24.60 a Gallon + a
departure fee usually $500.00 or more...
