Why not, WTF does it matter? it's only a number. The fact is , the cost
is going to drive up the cost well and beyond. Hell, even filling a Polo
up is going to cost you the best part of $100, 60 Euro, 10,000 yen 300
ringgits 12,000 naira or whatever. What matters is how long you will
have to break your back to earn your day of leisure. It's more than it
was, but it's less than 99.5% of the population of the planet.

Probably for those like me who have no idea what the exchange
rate is right now, and posting in Euros would have no meaning
for most of the readers of this newsgroup.

I'll give you a clue. The $ is doing clockwise circles in the northern
hemisphere..

Most likely the price in euros is staying relatively flat, while the $$$ rate is rising much more quickly...

No, actually. though you woudl think so. I'm in naziland at the moment
and the pirce of fuel at their pumps has skyrocketed over the last few
weeks as well with regular going for about 1.50 euro per litre which, if
I'm not mistaken, is up about 10% over about six or eight weeks ago. And
diseasel is even worse.
