Default Moisture in trailers

Any of you guys ever used or heard of using the old silica packs they
used to sell in cans to absorb moisture? I know they used to have
them and still do (sorta) basically packets that over time remove
humidity in the air...my trailer sits in a dark barn that tends to
attract moisture, so I figure a solar powered light/fan won't work
monday-friday, but maybe putting a water soaking pack in the front and
the back would be a good substitute...
