Default Travel Nevada Glider Ride

Ok, the thermals have headed south, the wave has not kicked in big
time yet, so what do you to with your equipment while waiting for
soaring season to kick in again? Why you invite someone from Travel
Nevada to go for a ride, of course. And they enjoy it (ever doubt
that for a moment?) and post some nice pix on their web site.

Some nice photos there - looks like pretty country to fly in, but my
that looks like a long tow!

Believe me, it is very pretty country to fly above. The tow for a
flight over Lake Tahoe is about 12 minutes long and involves a climb
of about 6,000'. For instructional flights its about half that.
