Hi Rusty,

Your work is simply wonderful!

We could have used you in Moscow in 1977.

Cheers,

Dave

Yes and no. Although basically a Hawk 115, for the Indian market its called
a 134. Take a look here.........

Ah, so they misled me when I checked the Fairford site and they
described the Indian Air Force Hawk, as in my illustration, as a mark
115! However, having checked your link, as above, perhaps the 115
designation applies to those supplied by BAe, whilst the HAL built ones
will be the 134? I wonder if they'll improve on the concept, as they did
so successfully with the Hawk's predecessor, the Gnat?

Thanks for your guidance, and thanks again for your superb action shots
- I'll make that spot in wildest Wales yet, but I'll need a much better
camera when I do.

Bearing in mind that the Hawk has been in service with the RAF for over
30 years, it's got a remarkable sales record. Also, like so many things
from the Hawker stable, it's an aesthetically pleasing design.
