Default WWD FBO Change?

Did the FBO change hands at WWD? If so, is Tom still there?

Last I heard (as of last summer), Tom K. had taken over operation of
the FBO from DRBA a year or so prior. His place was called TEK air.

I live in Arizona but my mom has a place in Cape May and I try to spend
a week out there at least once every couple of years. Three years ago
right after I got my ticket I dropped by on a visit looking for a
150/152/172 for rent and I was astounded at how dead the airport was.
Tom was managing the DRBA FBO and we enjoyed some nice hangar flying
but no aircraft rental was available.

Last summer I took a month off and took a 150 from Phoenix to Cape May
and back via Oshkosh. The airport seemed a little busier but still way
too dead for an airport with such a prime summertime location. I left
the 150 on TEK Air's ramp late one evening, and a couple of days later
I stopped by to check on her. Tom remembered me from my visit two
years earlier, complimented me on my cute little 150, said it was no
problem and no charge to leave it parked on the ramp but said he
thought it fell off to the right a little in a hammerhead stall!

Since the field is so huge, I think that can give the appearance of
sparseness. But there is more activity on weekends, especially summer
weekends, as opposed to weekdays. In fact ramp space at times can be a bit
limited on a nice sunny weekend, unless you get there early or want to
tie-down further away from the FBO.
