Default L-13 Spoilers

The spoilers on our L-13 are starting to squeak when u open them on the
ground. Where can they be oiled/greased?

One possibility is the roller in the wing root, actually it is in the
fuselage next to the wing root. The spoiler or flap push rod slides on that
when actuated.

The only way to really get to it, is through the hole behind the back seat,
get some one small, head first, and reach up there and remove the rollers,
bring it out into light of day and clean it well. This area is seldom looked
at during annual inspections. If the rollers don't roll, you are causing
wear on the side of a push rod.

of course the normal lube points should be reviewed in the maintenance
manual
