Default Aeronautical Glossary



Aerodrome - British word for airport. Exactly what you'd expect from a
country that gives its aeroplanes names like Gipsy Moth, Slingsby
Dart, and Fairey Battle Bomber.


Let's not forget the Vickers Wildebeest, the Westland Wapiti and the
Handley Page Hampden
