Is it against the law to ask that

[SNIPPED]

Yes it is. By doing what you are doing, you are committing TREASON
against the
United States of America, which is punishable by DEATH.

Actually a threat like this against any law abiding person is
punishable in Canada - as it should be.

In most states in the U.S. the threat has to be plausible. Then again the FBI
and Secret Service take as serious any threat made against the president.

WHAT IF AL GORE IS THE REAL PRESIDENT???

I believe that hypothetical was settled
back in 2000.
He wasn't.
He isn't.
He's not gonna be.

All true: some folks just can't get over it. There were what-five different
recounts done by news organizations (AP, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Florida
Today, CNN, and Fox News) and they all had Bush the winner (one by only about
a hundred votes). Of course, the only count that counts is the one done by
the state of Florida, and Bush won by 537 votes.
