Jay - what time does the Pilots Anonymous meeting begin at your
campsite at AirVenturer this year? Well, the "Call to Arms" meeting is planned for July 25th, at the inn, at poolside -- where beer, food, and entertainment will be served, on the house, to all pilots en route to OSH at our "2nd Annual Oshkosh Pool Party". The actual "meeting" will be held at our campsite in the North 40, on either Wednesday or Thursday evening -- depending on Mr. Weir's forum schedule. Jim, you go that schedule yet, or is that still a few months away? Admission will be a six-pack of good beer -- or be prepared to buy a few rounds at Friar Tuck's! -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |

Jay,
Let's see, using mogas, it cost me less than 90 bucks. Hogwash - and you know it. Only when you don't seriously factor in all the costs of your flying. -- Thomas Borchert (EDDH) |

....well...ya...but this is OSH we're talking about. So...what was your point again? :-) Still think renting sounds good? Not really but right now, it's either that or don't fly. Perish the thought! Ownership *will* happen for me...someday. Then I can delude myself into thinking that I'm saving money too :-) -- Jack Allison PP-ASEL "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the Earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return" - Leonardo Da Vinci (Remove the obvious from address to reply via e-mail) |

Hogwash - and you know it. Only when you don't seriously factor in all the costs of your flying. Geez, Thomas -- it was a *joke*. You know: "Ha ha! What a hoot! Only $90 bucks! That Honeck, he's such a kidder!" -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |
