I was intrigued by how to build a 'bent-wing' so I started on a
replica of the Zanonia. Got the D tube covered and ribs hung when more
practical endeavors prevailed. May finish it up some day, but for now
its hanging in the rafters!

Just about ready to test fly a SZD 50-3 Puchacz, which came into my
possession after a 'practice' roap break at Minden a few years back.
The student thought they should turn left and return to 12 (whence
they came) but the instructor thought it was neat to bend it right and
land on 16. Big studnent (guy) ; little instructor (gal) = neither won
and they settled not so gracefully into the sage brush north of 12 and
16!
Anybody need a good low time, 2-place ship?

Al, isn't the Puchacz aerobatic? You must need one. Plenty of room for
Plastic Jesii too (one for each seat).

OK, that explains it!
When I turned on the radio for the first time, all I got was; "I don't
care if it rains or freezes, long as I got my plastic Jesus, riding on
the dash-board of my carrrrr!"

Loved flying the Puch as a two seater its handling is so much nice
that the G103.

Almost got its successor the Perchoz? (think that was the name) but
someone bought it just as I found out about it being available.
There was one in the US and it was sold for a really low price.

Cheers

Al

It's here in Colorado and the owners love it, but they put quite a bit
into it also. The current production has a more reasonable payload
and tips.
