Default Cockpit size of Libelle?

Saw some early ones in the late 70's. Looked like only little people
would fit. Did they ever build one around American sizes - 6' 2" 220 lbs?

Yeah, but you had to sit in them sideways. ;-)
Glasflugel seemed to get the hint with the Mosquito. Much roomier cockpit.

also the Kestral...

but as for the "Mighty Libelle".. a great ship... but I'm on the short side
of 5-10 and 200# US and barely fit... its the fit across the shoulders that
is the tough part for me.

I'm 5' 11.5" and 250-260 lb and I fly the Std Libelle. It's only the
shoulders that are a problem. The cockpit gets wider as you get below
the canopy rails, so getting as low and as laid-back as you can is the
trick, but you lose forward visibility with the tail down. Once in it's
quite comfortable as not only the pedals but the seat back angle is
adjustable in flight. And while the standard ventilation is quite poor,
the unusual (but allowed) method of unlatching the canopy is more than
you could ever want!
