(video doesn't work for me).

I noticed earlier that with the bird-man flying suits published L/D, and
two small jet engines, you'd have enough thrust for a fairly rapid
climb, and 20 min of flight.
Fueltank in backpack, couple of handles on the engines, and you've even
got thrust vectoring.
